Captain Derek Lechler grew up fishing the Texas Gulf Coast, where he developed a love for saltwater fishing. After graduating from Texas A&M in 2002 he moved to Kemah where he lives with his wife and children. Captian Derek's true passion is wading the flats throwing artificial lures for trophy trout and reds in one of the finest fisheries in the Gulf.
Captain Lechler took the Frio 45 on his fishing excursions and found the Frio cooler to be exactly what he needed!

Frio 45
I recently purchased a Frio 45 quart hard side cooler for a 1 week camping trip in the Colorado backcountry near Silverton. The cooler performed above my expectations. Sturdy and quality construction, excellent ice retention (around 48 hrs) and the led light inside the lid came in handy several times. I highly recommend this product!

Problem Solved
Once these guys got my message about my problem, they went far and above what was called for to make it right. I never expected such service. These guys aren't being "knock offs" ; they are setting a new standard and keeping this industry moving forward. Kudos to Frio and Toby. How Tough is a Frio Cooler?
