TEXAS BOYS OUTDOORS
Roy Crush (aka “TX” Roy) is an avid outdoorsman who has been fishing and hunting across Texas for 35 years. Roy grew up in Spring, TX, playing football and basketball, and had a love for the outdoors at an early age. After a few years playing college basketball and finishing up school at Sam Houston State University, Roy began coaching high school basketball and working with coach/motivator John Lucas and NBA players in the summers in Houston, TX. Roy and his family currently live in Montgomery, TX, and Roy now holds a position as a trustee for Marinosci & Baxter Law Firm. In his spare time Roy enjoys fishing as a tournament angler with several top 10 finishes and wins in professional redfish and speckled trout events.
Roy is the founder of Te xas Boys Outdoors, as well as host of the TBO television series, a venture he’s undertaken since 2014. Texas Boys Outdoors is a TX based 501 C3 Non-Profit Organization focused on children with special needs, military veterans, first responders, and other heroes in the community – a goal echoed in their mission statement “Give back to our heroes and show kids the beauty of the great outdoors!” Texas Boys Outdoors organizes hunting and fishing trips all over Texas, giving every group a great new adventure!
TBO is also proud of its outdoors TV show, with an all new Season 3 set to start airing this April on Pursuit Channel each Sunday morning at 8:30amET. Each show involves host “TX” Roy Crush, “Cowboy” Shawn Allen (Houston Fire Dept), and their crew out fishing and hunting across Texas with numerous kids, veterans and other special guests. Texas Boys Outdoors is produced by Daniel Ritchie and Pat Blake.

"Whether you are in the woods chasing a big wild boar, or in a redfish tournament with big money on the line - if you’re on the water or in the woods as much as we are, you better have gear that performs. That’s exactly why we trust Frio. Gear that gets the job done day in and day out, when it matters."
