Growing up in Virginia Beach, my two passions were playing baseball and fishing. In 2006, I accepted a baseball scholarship with Baylor University. It was there in Waco, Texas, where a newfound passion for hunting began. In 2008, I was drafted from Baylor by the San Diego Padres. I played within their organization for six years. Following my time with the Padres, I went on to sign with the Texas Rangers organization and then most recently, finished up the season with the Sugarland Skeeters. With baseball taking up six months of the year, I am able to dedicate the other six months focused on hunting. I enjoy most types of hunting including dove, hog, whitetail, and predator. Overall, my favorite type of hunting is predator hunting and anything where I can use my bow.
