I grew up in Melbourne, Florida along the Indian River. My family had a 15' Proline growing up and we used to fish the Indian and Banana Rivers on the weekends and spent summers catching trout, jacks, sheepshead with the occasional excitement of a redfish, black drum or juvenile snook. We would also go down to the keys most summers. In my middle and high school days I'd get to go offshore maybe once or twice a year, which was always the most exciting thing to look forward to, and catch mahi or red snapper out of Sebastian Inlet.

When I graduated high school, I moved to Sarasota for 4 years to complete my bachelor's degree at Ringling College of Art and Design. I bought a kayak and decided to figure out how to catch fish on my own over there and at home during my summers. I had some success and became completely obsessed. Since then, I have had incredible opportunities to meet and learn from exceptional captains and fisherman around the state. Great friends of mine put in time to help me learn my technical skills and always answered my many questions (rigging rods, trailering boats, navigating through channels, reading flats, etc.) I have been doing everything I can to always keep learning and always keep getting better at what I do.

In the past 2 years I have been learning how to hunt for Gators, Deer, Turkeys, and Hogs. I also do some bowfishing for tilapia and frog gigging...basically anything that gets me outside. I love to travel and I plan trips each year to go explore new types of fishing. This year I went to Quepos, Costa Rica to catch my first roosterfish and to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in pursuit of striped marlin. I plan on making arrangement in the next few years to visit Panama, Alaska, Louisiana, and hopefully the Azores off of Portugal to do many different types of fishing. I also make frequent trips down to the Florida Keys to go fishing, and to our hunting lease up in Screven County, Georgia. Fishing is a passion of mine that has made me more eager than ever to gain as much knowledge as I can about and to love, respect, and truly be present in nature and wilfelife. I am only 23 years young and I have a whole lifetime ahead of me to keep learning and loving these outdoor sports!

I am also a marine and wildlife artist, working in stainless steel for fabricated metal artwork. My preferred medium of choice for paintings is acrylic paints, but I'm exceptional in digital art and other traditional mediums such as oil paints, pastel, watercolor, pen & ink, scratchboard and pencil. My pieces convey my love for nature, the ocean, and it's species through artwork inspired by personal experiences.
